Hello!

My name is Tracy, and I am new to the forum. I have finally sat down after many years and started writing again. (It's a bit uphill now, as I have an Inner Critic to contend with).

 Still, I am glad to be here, and hope to get some motivation, ideas, and good old constructive criticism as I go! I have a question to start out with--what is the difference between a blog and a forum?

What is the difference between a blog and a forum?

Dictionary.com defines blog as "a shared on-line journal where people can post diary entries about their personal experiences and hobbies; postings on a blog are usually in chronological order"

Forums are where you'll find a group of like minded people talking about particular topics. It's an online place to bring your questions and learn from your peers.You can also network with others and share your knowledge.

I am not sure how much of difference is there between a Blog and a Forum. My understanding is that a forum raises issues continuously on the subject under discussion and where as a Blog is a one time expression of your views on the subject matter.Period.
