SIMPLICITY and COMPLEXITY in science fiction

ican say briefly science fiction depends mainly in my opinion as young writer onsimplicity and complexity, in other words you need the simplicityfor the tools you use to make reader at ease with the composition of your work, preserve his attention to events not to be lost in much imagination of thedevice or the technology or much description you use. Also writer himself willsave time and effort  also.

Complexity mainly is preferred for your thoughts and ideas to forcethe reader to dive in your mind. Remember that your duty to deliver hima message and clear conclusion. How is that? The answer is your tools, how  youplay with characters, devices even sites besides the already known scientificinformations ,  the tricks and surpriseswithin the body of the story but in well arranged logic order  for explanation the scene you write for thereader, to make him oriented how it (is\was\will be )  done , to make him interacted with you tillthe last page.

Tryenough not to make the reader expect your next movement\ event for keeping yourdomination on your work. Thanks for all.

I think simplicity and complexity can be applied to any genre of writing, not just science fiction. However, you still have to have characters, an intriguing plot, and many other things to keep your reader engaged in what your writing or risk them not sticking with it 'til the last page.
