I just joined this community and am looking forward to receiving all sorts of feedback on my writing, whether good or bad. I am here hoping to grow as a writer and to have my first book ready for publishing by next summer. I know that's a big goal for a new writer, but you have to dream big, right?!

Even though it's a big goal, stick with it! There's nothing more satisfying (to me, at least) than finishing a novel. I've got the first novel under the belt, and now it's all about getting it edited before even thinking of sending it off to an agent or get it self-published. The goals I set are usually to write one page a day, but sometimes it's hard to keep up with even that. Keep dreaming big!
