How would I categorize my story, anyway?

My story is definitely fiction, based on dreams, romantic, sci-fi, with spiritual overtones. I'm not sure which category fits it best. In the forums of this new community I just joined today, there are different groups to connect with to get ideas and critique. Which one shall I go to?

I just might end up going to all the forums that fit my story. So, I'm off on another adventure! Where will it lead this time? Where will my muse choose to go?

I'm almost afraid to wake up from the dream

Can this be the first step to making my dream of being a writer come true? Since I found my old story a few days ago, and started revising it, and seeing the potential, I've been feeling so much excitement. I feel mixed emotions, too. Yes, it is fiction, and romantic, but it is from some very real dreams I had at one time in my life. I am almost afraid to wake up from the dream, and make it reality for the world to see.

My first step is to upload it to my computer so I can work on it. I stayed up all night attempting to do that, but ran into technical difficulties. I have no problem uploading photos with my scanner, but, for some reason, I have trouble uploading documents. I put in a call to my brilliant author son, who designs web sites for a living, so I'm sure he will be able to help me with any technical difficulties I have.

I'm retired now, and have too much time on my hands. This is a perfect time for me to seriously work on my life time dream goal of becoming an author.
