Reviews for The Spices of My Life

The Spices of My Life“Today, Heather and I received our copy of The Spices of My Life: A Culinary Collection of Recipes, Memories, and More. It was written by my friend, Tiffany Christiansen Moen. What an amazing story and family she has! After Tiffany and Eric had three of their own children, they adopted five more children from around the world. I am honored that Tiffany sprinkled excerpts from my writings in the book along with quotes from people like Thoreau, Julia Child, Kate Choplin, and others. Some projects you just feel good about playing a part. This was one of them. Off to make Tiffany’s Cinnamon Almond Buttermilk Pie.”

“Tiffany Moen, like most of us with large families learn to be flexible in the kitchen. Then she learned even more. with a little tweaking she came up with some very original and exceptional tasty recipes. Then over several months, while using her family as guinea pigs, sorry, I mean taste testers, she perfected them for us to use in the cookbook aptly named The Spices of My Life – A Culinary Collection of Recipes, memories, and More. Much as her family is a blend of personalities, so her cookbook uses a multitude of different ingredients and spices.

I grew up on banana bread and never thought I would find a recipes that was as moist and tasty as my mother’s, but I did It is called Delightfully Moist Banana Bread. For those who like Monkey Bread there is a scrumptious Pull Apart Brown Sugar Cinnamon Bread that you will love. You need to add the Tomato And Red Pepper Salad to your repertoire. Any and all of the pasta recipes will be a hit with your family. I fell in love with the Ginger-Citrus Chicken, but my family favored the Blueberry Cobbler which of course is from the dessert section. These and so many more are found in The Spices of My Life – A Culinary Collection of Recipes, memories, and More cookbook.

These recipes are easy enough for the beginner cook, but tasty enough to make you look like a pro to your friends and family. Be sure to add this cookbook to your favorite go to shelf when wanting a recipe to appeal to even the finicky eater in your home.”
